Bringing Ideas to Life
My favorite work starts with a conversation. Someone comes to me with an idea, a memory, an animal they love, a space they want to fill, and together we figure out how to bring it to life in glass.
I work in two worlds: the first is lamp work where I make sea life and garden creatures, more delicate and detailed pieces. The second world is off hand glass blowing, where I create larger sculptures and functional work like vases, vessels, and lighting. Whatever you have in mind, there’s a good chance it can be made, and I’d love to talk to you about it.
I work with customers across the country, so where you live is never a barrier. I take on a limited number of custom pieces at a time so each one gets my full attention.

Browse the Gallery
Take a look at the gallery to get a feel for my work. Write down which colors, textures, shapes or creatures you're most drawn to. It helps to know which styles fit what you're imagining and it can spark ideas you may not have considered.
Sharing what resonates is a great way to start the conversation.

Share Your Idea
Even if your exact idea isn’t in the gallery, that’s ok! Let’s start with you telling me what you’re imagining. It doesn’t need to be fully formed. A rough sketch, a photo, a story, or just “I love sea turtles and I want one for our entryway” is plenty to start.

We Talk It Through
Once I have your idea, I’ll reach out to ask questions, talk through what’s possible, and share my thoughts on size, color, and approach. We work it out by phone, email, and/or photos, so it doesn’t matter whether you’re down the road or across the country. When we’ve landed on a direction, I’ll give you an estimate and a rough timeframe.

Deposit to Hold Your Spot
When you’re ready to move forward, a 50% deposit reserves your place in my studio schedule and lets me order any special materials your piece needs. The balance is due when the piece is finished, before it ships or you pick it up.

Into the Studio
This is my favorite part. I’ll make your piece by hand, whether that’s at the torch or the furnace. Depending on complexity and where you fall in my schedule, this usually takes a few weeks to a couple of months. For involved sculptures it can run longer. I’ll be honest with you about timing.

Finishing & Delivery
When your piece is complete I’ll send photos and a final invoice, including any shipping. Everything I send out is packed by hand with real care and fully insured, and I ship nationwide. Local pickup at the Pocasset studio is always welcome too.

Its New Home
Once it’s in its new home, I’d love to see it. Some of my favorite moments are the photos customers send back. Every custom piece becomes part of the story of the studio.

Where do you ship? World wide. Glass requires care, so every piece is hand packed and fully insured. Smaller work ships by carrier, and larger pieces are crated as needed. Studio pickup on Cape Cod is always an option for local customers.
Can you really make what I’m imagining? Maybe. Glass has its own personality and not every idea works the same way in glass as it does on paper, but that’s part of the fun. Send it my way and I’ll tell you honestly what’s possible.
